Installation

Via WordPress dashboard
  • Go to Appearance->Themes
  • Click on “Add New” button
  • Click on “Upload Theme” button, upload theme and activate
Via FTP
  • Upload the unzipped folders of the parent and child theme to the directory …/wp-content/themes/.
  • Go to “Appearance –> Themes” where you can see your theme and install it using the “Activate” button.

You can use a free software like Filezilla. Only your host can give you the details to use the FTP.

Working with Theme menu

Currently theme having 4 menus.
Go to Appearance->Menu and click on “Manage Locations” tab. You can see 4 menus:
Top Menu: Display menu top right side.
Primary Menu: Main menu for website.
Footer Menu: Display menu in the footer section.
Responsive Menu: Optional menu to show different menu in mobile device.

Working with front page and blog page (post page)

Theme is having two front page template(Full Width and with sidebar) and designed post section. You can set any page from your website as front page and any page as post page(blog).

Note: if you are display any page as a front page, kindly select the front page template from Page Attributes box ie Template.

To set the front page and blog page, you can go to setting –> Reading and under reading section select the A static page (select below) radio button and assign the page.

WPOS – Theme Settings

WPOS – Theme Settings gives an area where you can setup the layout for your front page, custom fonts for your website, Logo Upload, category and blog page layout option etc.

Bellow the description for each tab section:

General Options:

1) Site Primary Color: Set the Primary color for website.
2) Site Hover Primary Color: Set the Hover Primary color for website.
3) Page Layout: Allow to set boxed layout OR full layout. Also you can add tracking code ie google tracking code etc

Typeography:

Allow to set the fonts for your website. Ie fonts for body, navigation and heading.

  • You can either choose standard fonts ie Arial, Courier New, Georgia and Tahoma etc
  • As well as google fonts ie. Droid Sans, Lato, Montserrat and Roboto etc.

Font’s size you can also manage from this section.

Header Options:

Header option includes:

  • Upload logo and logo width for your WordPress site.
  • You can enable/disable search navigation.
  • Display Social Icon on Header.

Navigation Options

Navigation options allow you to manage your menu bar display ie Normal OR Sticky.

Featured Post Section:

Allow you to display Featured Posts of your website in Grid view OR Slider view. You can manage featured post under post section as shown in below image.

1) Featured Post Section Options: Allow to display Featured post in Grid view OR Slider view. We have added 3 design for both grid view as well as in slider view.
2) Display Settings: Under display setting you can set Featured posts design in full width and Display/Hide Featured Post Section On: home page, blog page, category page etc.

Home Page Options:

Home Page option list all categories created by you under Posts-> Categories and you can manage the categories position with drag and drop function.

There are 4 type of display to manage the design of categories ie List, grid, block and slider.

Each category section have some options:
1) Disable: Hide/Show category on home page.
2) Display Type: There are 4 type of display to manage the design of categories ie List, grid, block and slider.
3) No of Post to Display: Allow to display number of post.
4) No of Grid: Set the grid (if grid view is selected)

Blog Page Options:

Allow you to manage your website blog page. You can use grid-1, grid-2, grid-3(without sidebar) and grid-4(without sidebar).

Also you can Enable Masonry with the grid layout.

Category Page Options

Allow you to manage your website category pages. You can use grid-1, grid-2, grid-3(without sidebar) and grid-4(without sidebar).

Single Post Page Options

Allow you to manage your website post detail view.
1) Enable Related Posts: Check the chekbox to enable related posts section on single post page.
2) Enable Full Page Layout: Check the checkbox to enable full page layout for single post page ie display without sidebar.

Post Options

A) Display full content on home page.
B) Display full content on archives page.
C) Excerpt length. You can also set the setting for featured image hide/show in the post page OR single page(Post detail page)

Footer Options:

Allow you to
A) enable/disable footer widgets and Footer Widget Column.
B) enable/disable copyright and copyright text.
C) enable/disable Go To Top
D) Display Social Icon on Footer.

Social Profiles:

This section allow you add link for Social Profiles ie facebook, google plus etc. Only the Social icon will display in the front side having Social link in the section.

Custom CSS:

Allow you to write your custom css to overwrite the theme style. If you are using child theme then you can overwrite the css under child theme style.css file.

Import / Export:

Allow you to Import / Export theme setting during migration of your website from local machine to live server OR one server to anther server.

Working with Category Page

Under category page You can use grid-1, grid-2, grid-3(without sidebar) and grid-4(without sidebar).

Also you can Enable Masonry with the grid layout.

Page Template

Theme is having 4 page template ie Front page template, Front page Full width, template Full width with no side bar and default page template with side bar.

Widgets

Theme is having 3 latest post widget.
1) WPOS – Latest Post Slider Widget: Display post in a slider view.
2) WPOS – Latest Post List/Slider 1: Display post in LIST view OR SLIDER view (Design-1)
3) WPOS – Latest Post List/Slider 2: Display post in LIST view OR SLIDER view (Design-2)
Theme is having 1 Trending/popular post widget.
1) WPOS – Trending Post: Display rending/popular posts in the sidebar.

Install Sample Data

Please download the Sample Data from here.
To Import the sample data, kindly use the following steps:
Step-1: Go to Tools–>Import
Step-2: Clock on “WordPress”. Install “WordPress Importer” plugin if not installed.
Step-3: Import the XML file and press “Upload file and import” button
