Addon For Gutenberg Plugin To Be Launched Soon

POSIMYTH, a WordPress Development Company is gearing up to announce its block development venture in the upcoming says. Their new plugin will be an add-on to the block builder with different blocks and template collection with some additional features for building websites. Currently this plugin is waiting for review in the WordPress Plugin directory.

In 2013, the POSIMYTH team started working as an outsourcing agency. With over 1000 projects worked, it started building WordPress themes and plugins for the Envato marketplace. It continuously grew its business and constantly increased its customers.

The Plus Addons for Elementor Plugin is the company’s one of the most used products with 9000 active installs of the free version and is described as a complete package for building elementor based websites.

“Our Gutenberg version will be kind of a recreation of our Elementor version, but on top of that, we are adding more options and features based on our feedback from Elementor users,” he said. “Some blocks are completely revamped and made with a unique concept, but some are just a recreation of the Elementor version. For example, our Popup Builder, Countdown, Global Features, and some others are completely made from scratch with a new structure.”

This version of Gutenberg will be a revamped version of Elementor.

The company recently surveyed over 1,000 of its users. One of the points they noted is that many of those users wanted to use WordPress’s built-in block editor. However, they were unable to find reliable options for building complex websites. The results of this survey are one of the primary reasons the company is building this plugin.

With 29 blocks, the free version of the Plus Addons for Gutenberg will be launched with commercial upgrades. The pro version will be having 11 extra blocks. With extra features and options the pricing will be accordingly.

Patel said, “We will always keep that in sync with our global options,” he said. “It’s still in the initial stage. We will keep on updating based on feedback from users and as per the updates of the Gutenberg team.”

The UI of the plugin is pretty responsive and great considering the fact that this is the first version where some plugins improve their UI only after their second or third version. Navigating the block was easier for this plugin because of the minimal and on point UI.

Nowadays the concept of building blocks is likely increasing at an exponential rate as all the companies are trying to release block libraries. This trend is more likely to continue so recreating it will be unnecessary.

The Plus Addons for Gutenberg’s blocks are well done, and it is hard to fault a plugin for having a consistent experience across its custom blocks. The easy to use interface is what sets apart this plugin from other block libraries. This plugin is just like any other plugin without any unique ideas.

“We are on a mission to provide a one-stop solution for all needs of WordPress website designers and developers.” Patel said and added that he doesn’t consider anyone else as his competition. He is just focussed on his goal of making it easier for agencies and freelancers to make and build complex layouts in the block editor without coding.

Final Thoughts

Currently, the availability of predesigned templates are being advertised by the project’s website. This feature won’t be included in the free version according to the team while focusing on the other features but you can get the templates in both free and pro versions of the plugin.

He said, “[Templates] will be available in a couple of months or early after the initial free version’s launch,” and added, “We will have UI blocks, homepage templates, as well as full-site demos with multiple pages in that.”
